W e have been blessed with warmer weather and calm winds, and great fishing for a lot of the folks we see here.

The large and small mouth bass are hitting very good on our lakes and create some real excitement  for families.

The pike are hitting better than ever, and the favorite baits for them are  Mepps  spinner baits. Those bass are liking the crawlers, baby suckers, and Lorie Rigs, as well as a variety of tubes, spinners and top water baits.

The perch are being caught on our perch minnows and worms and crawlers. Walleye like the crawlers best, but those Berkley Flicker Shads sure work well, as do the Hot’N’Tots. The depths on these fish changes frequently, and with out warmer weather they have gone into deeper water now.
