This coming Friday, May 6, Bucks Bait and Tackle will reopen. We have live bait ordered , including minnows and crawlers. And a beautiful supply of tackle, including rods and reels, walleye baits, bass baits, pike baits and an enormous supply of terminal tackle, hooks, line and sinkers as  ” they ”  say.

And what a great stock of Lorie  Rigs, wow. Your familiar favorites and a new line of rigs is waiting for you to try out. Fly rigs to crawler harnesses. And all of these work great on Long Lake, Grand Lake, Lake Huron,  and any lake, river , or backwater you might like to fish in.

Our dock is in now, and so are the docks at the Alpena Boat Harbor.  Yesterday was the grand opening for 2016 Walleye and Pike season, so all you need is that new license and a desire to have a lot of fun on or in the water. We’re seeing boats in the water now,a lot of them rolling down the highway, rods in their holders, ready.
