I took a trip around Long and Grand lakes today, and although the wind chill was 2, and temp 10, we only found ice in some bay areas. The rest of the lakes was open with white caps. Black Bass Bay is frozen over.

This very cold air will of course freeze our lakes, but not at least for a few weeks.

So we will stick to our Dec 14 opening day and not rush it.

    Tomorrow is Thanksgiving day, so we are still right on schedule.
