The big holiday week end is approaching, and we are looking forward to seeing a crowd of fishermen, and fisher ladies, and children of all ages. And we have a great fishing season  going on right now too. For those of you who are concerned about the Mayfly hatch, that seems to be over, and the fish have responded  very favorably . The fish have been eating well, and are healthy, strong, and in good numbers.

For the family crews, we have a great selection of Blue Gill, Crappies, Perch, and Walleye, Pike and Bass . The weed beds seem to be the most popular spots for pan fish, but some of the action lately has been reported as deep as 20 feet, which is of course about as deep as these lakes get. Very interesting catches  too, a few rather large, Large Mouth Bass have been caught in Long  Lake. Some small ones too, but the recent catches of Large Mouth and Crappies in Long Lake is pretty exciting. We still have a huge stock of Small Mouth Bass too, so the choices are abundant, and the  most favored method for the family guy, has been night crawlers on  a Lorie Rig, or Lorie Fly Rig. Very successful.  For those of  you who prefer artificial bates and find the Lorie Rigs just too easy to catch fish, and want a challenge, we have a huge supply of body baits, tubes, jigs, and other toys. We also have a great selection of family priced rods and reels. We even have Barbie combos, and Iron Man combos, to name a few.
