A very good end to winter is about to unfold. We have great ice, and warmer air is moving in this week, just in time. We have only about 11 days left as of this posting to fish for walleye and pike.We have a forecast showing near 40 by this weekend, the last full weekend of pike and walleye fishing in inland lakes. Of course perch will continue right through.

Lately the perch fishing awards would have to go to Grand lake, while Long lake is showing off some very large pike and some walleye.Having safe ice this year, we urge you to think about ice fishing especially this weekend when the warm air will be here. It is true that most veteran Long and Grand lake residents agree that the best ice fishing on these lakes is in March, if you can just hold good ice. Well we have all the right formulas this year.We hope to see you here, for that reason.
