We have had some very warm November weather, but that is about to go away and winter weather is approaching this Friday, November 23.  Our ten day forecast shows lows in the 20’s every night, starting Friday night and even in the low teens a few nights.

This could change the ice fishing season possibility very quickly and I will keep you posted. It looks as though  I may be able to reopen the bait shop as early as December 15. At that time we will be fully stocked with ice fishing gear and tackle, and will have shiners in the tanks, ready for you to catch fish.

Our number 1 seller and fish catcher wall will be fully stocked with those incredible Lorie Rig fly rigs for pan fish and walleye and pike. The Lorie Rig company has been working tirelessly, daily, to insure a healthy stock of rigs all winter. Don’t forget to ask to see the new treble hook fly rigs, ideal for walleye and pike, and very big perch. These rigs will be set for Blues, Greys, and even pike Suckers or Goldens.  Very nice.

When we reopen for winter we are going to have a new type of fishing contest for you to win easy money. Any one can enter and anyone can win. A weekly contest just for you. A new winner every week. Be sure and ask about that too.

Well, now all we need is ice, and I do believe that is coming soon.
