MOM, WHY IS THE LAKE SO BLUE ?

June 14th, 2012 by Budd

Mom,why is the lake so blue asked the little boy .  Well answered the mom, maybe because there are so many Bluegills  and Sunfish in Long and  Grand lakes now.

And mom would be right, partially, there are a lot of blues gills out there  now And the best way to catch them is with a worm, crawler, or minnow, and attach to a Lorie rig crawler harness or fly rig

The lakes are showing some very good signs right now and the customers are happy  that are going out and having a ball fishing and catching . Both Long and Grand lakes have been showing us some nice catches of   Walleye and Bass, some decent Pike catches and the Perch have started to show signs of co-operating as well.

The weather has been helping out too, with some reduction in winds and more even temps. We still get windy days for sure, but there seems to be a calming pattern now. We are open now 7-6 daily, 7 days a week.

We are fully stocked and just waiting to see you here, and get off some great fishing time. We’ll point you in the right direction, and show you the tackle, colors and so on, to catch fish.

open 7-6 dialy

Hope to see you real soon, Lorie and Budd
