Well, the reports lately are varied and change daily. There is some water by the lake shoreline, and there are good areas of ice, fair ice and not so great. I am not kidding. While the fishing is PHENOMENAL this winter, the ice is risky. Oh, you can see folks out there fishing and catching but caution by the boat load is recommended..

At this bait shop we do NOT see the lakes, and super dooper hot spots with huge fish, and a lot of them, good luck getting that information pried out.

But there are indeed great hauls of fish coming out of the lakes here. we see the pictures, buckets of fish brought in for show and don’t tell, and our bait sales, well they are great.

YES, it is worth fishing, YES there is risk. Are you a risk taker.
