THE BIG fishing event of this winter is fast approaching. “THE REEL FUN” fishing contest. Feb 23, 2019. The event is on Grand Lake. First prize is a side by side . WOW. The next list of prizes is very impressive and the entry ticket is only $25.00.  1200 holes will be predrilled for you, but only 1000 tickets will be sold. You may buy up to three holes and fish the legal Michigan limit of three rods or tip ups.

The BIGGEST FISH wins the grand prize. ANY SPECIE. This event is well run, very well supervised, and worth the time you spend out there. The derby runs from noon to 3pm.

The last 10 years that this event was held, MANY prizes were won using LORIE FLY RIGS. We also sell them right here at BUCKS. These rigs come in different colors and four different hook sizes. They accept wigglers, wax worms, perch minnows and blues. And there are treble hook lures available that accept suckers and minnows.

LORIE RIGS WORK. If you use them you WILL catch fish. No “lol” stuff here. So don’t be “sol”.

Tickets are selling fast. Do not procrastinate. We must accept cash or checks only, and you can buy tickets for friends, family, any one. As an old veteran used to say “GET SOME!”
