We now have ice in the entire East Bay in Long Lake. Most bay areas will now have ice, there is even ice in the backwaters of the Thunder Bay river. And this ice is here to stay and get thicker each day and night. Our temps are just right for making ice and by Dec 16, when we re-open there could be ample ice for fishing. I’ll let you know. But it sure looks good.
