If you were here for the holiday weekend, you most likely had a great time and caught fish. The weather was spectacular, and we want to thank all of you who came into our store and shared experiences and helped our business with sales.
The fish were co operating very well, and all species were evident. We even had Large Mouth Bass caught in large numbers in Grand Lake. One very happy customer told us that he and his son either caught one fish 60 times, or they caught a bunch of fish, sixty times.The had a ball they said and will be back.
The Blue Gills, Walleye, Pike, Perch and even Crappies were anxious to provide good times out here.
The depth of the fish started out about 8 feet down, but as the warmer air moved in, that changed quickly to about 12 feet. Crawlers, minnows, lures of all kinds and of course the famous Lorie Rigs were working well.
