You did not miss the Grand Lake’s association tournament after all, it was postponed to Feb. 20, after a brutal sub zero week end forced the cancellation of last Sat. event. So this Saturday, enjoy an ice fishing contest that is very easy to win at, and will be fun to enter. The temp for that day is forecast to be around 40. Nice ! Remember, there is no sign up needed, no entry fee, just be at the pavilion at the very north end of Grand lake, [ next to the Grand Lake Dam. ] Show up any time from 1 pm to 7 pm with your fish, and win prizes for Perch, Walleye, Pike,  and enjoy some food and coffee while there.  A great family event.

Also coming up, the 8 th annual 1,000 hole ice fishing derby on Grand Lake FEB 27, Sat, from noon to 3. This requires you to purchase a $25.00 ticket from Bucks Bait, Chamber of Commerce, or Clem’s Bait shop. The top prize is a side by side quad, and the next 45 prizes are of great value also, with alternating  value for places. There will be electronics, shanties, augers, and a whole lot more. A huge event, a great event, and food and beverages for sale will be available on the ice.  And this year, the weather will be tolerable like never before. A high of 37 is  now showing for that day.  And get this, your fishing hole will be pre drilled for you, how sweet is that ?

Come on in to our shop to apply, get a booklet,  and then get set up with bait and tackle that will probably earn you prizes and fun. We will show you what colors work, how the famous Lorie Fly Rigs will help you capture your prize, and give you tips on winning.
