We have Blues and Perch shiners coming tomorrow morning so I am opening the bait shop tomorrow morning.We’ll also have waxworms and a lot of fishing tackle.
We do not have any ice and it looks to be a ways off yet, however : I am seeing pictures of Walleye being caught, as well as Perch, a lot of Perch. Grand Lake mainly, but Thunder Bay river as well. And these Walleye are huge, so why wait for big ice or Spring ? We aren’t, so don’t miss out on this good fishing unless you are really into Christmas shopping, which I certainly understand too. ?
Some fishermen are using boats and some lucky guys are fishing right off the shore for those Perch. I’m not going to say where one good area is, because we don’t want a huge crowd off of Whiskey Bay area, [ oops].
