The Long Lake Family Fishing Fun Day was a huge success. A lot of fish were brought in, and a lot of people were very happy. The weather did try and play havoc for a while, with rain and thunder, but the folks stayed their course and the rain stopped.

We do not give winners names out on the world wide internet, but fish sizes were good and we will give you some of them. Winning perch ranged from 10 inches to 12    1/2. Walleye, 18 to 21, bass, 18  1/2 to 19  1/2., pike 26 t0 31, and blue gill in the youth division were in the 7 inch range.

I know our grand children from Colorado were happy recipients of prizes, and had a very good time and lots of memories and stories to take back to their school in Colorado.

There is a lot of good summer fishing time left here, and we hope you will enjoy the area and fish often.
