TAKING A BREAK FROM ARCTIC ASSAULTS

February 25th, 2014 by Budd

When fishermen from Oscoda to Bay De Noc quit buying bait, and bait trucks quit running to bait shops due to the lack of sales and horrible roads, and white outs, and more of this weather coming, it is time to take a break, and get ready to re-group for the spring. We have seen more than our share  of this , this winter, and there are  more Arctic fronts coming, Siberian Express, and Polar  nightmares, and we have had enough. We have closed our doors until Spring. This action always causes a lot of speculation as to the future of a business, and we would like to clear up the guessing game. We are at this time making our summer order, and building an enviable arsenal of Lorie Rigs . Those night crawler harnesses and fly rigs will be hung by owners with care, and we  will be open and ready.

For those few of you who tried to fish, and came to our shop for bait, thank you.  And we regret any inconvenience this may cause you, but it is obviously an unusual winter, our 20 th, and we do know when to put the cards away and take a break.

With that said, have a great Easter and we will see you in the spring !
