Bow season is here and fall is in full swing. In this area we have some beautiful colors going on in the tree lines, and the leaves are already falling fast. We have had a few great days of warmth and sun, but we are now faced with a week of rain and fog. I know you don’t want a weather report for here, but we have no fishing news for you at this time. Sadly, summer is over and the boats with blue shrink rap on them, outnumber the ones without.

The good news is that winter ice fishing will fast approach this area, and we will be ready and open when there is a hint of ice. We estimate somewhere between Dec 1, and 15. Our new minnow tanks are built, and the orders for winter tackle have been made.
