IT RAINED OR WAS WINDY ALMOST EVERY WEEKEND, AND THE UP AND DOWN TEMPERATURES\u00a0 WERE HARD TO FIGURE.\u00a0 WE SAW, IN THIS STORE A LOT OF GREAT FISH BROUGHT IN FOR PICTURES. AND WE HEARD A LOT OF GOOD STORIES AS WELL, NOT UNUSUAL FOR A BAIT SHOP.\u00a0 SINCE THE SUMMER IS PRETTY MUCH OVER AFTER LABOR DAY, ESPECIALLY FOR US, I CAN TELL YOU THE PATTERNS FOR THE SUMMER ENDED UP LIKE THIS. BOTH LAKES PRODUCED \u00a0THEIR GREAT BASS CATCHES, AND A LOT OF PIKE. LONG LAKE SEEMED TO HAVE THE LARGER AMOUNTS OF LEGAL WALLEYE, AND GRAND LAKE HAD THE BEST PERCH FISHING BY FAR. GRAND LAKE HAD AN ENORMOUS AMOUNT OF 13 TO 14 INCH WALLEYE CAUGHT.<\/p>\n<p>THE BIG DOWN SIDE THIS YEAR WAS THE DISCOVERY OF GOBIES IN LONG LAKE, A LOT OF GOBIES.
