SPRING ? ON HOLD

March 17th, 2017 by Budd

Monday, April 20 is of course the first day of spring. Says so on all of our calenders. However, the weather report shows it will be a cold, wet, snowy messy start to spring. Didn’t we just have that and called it winter ? Well enough of winter or spring forecasts. We will have spring just like always, and it always seems to take forever. Especially if you are looking at the lakes and ice conditions, daily, and would love to throw a line out and just see what the fishing will be like.

But here at Buck’s Bait shop, we aren’t waiting for all that. We’re preparing our summer tackle order and have already put away all that ice fishing stuff until next winter. We’re going to have a great deal of tackle put up and a lot of new stuff to look at and catch fish on.

Just wait until you see the new line of  LORIE RIG crawler harnesses. New colors, exciting choices, and she has been making them every day while the rest of us just look for more grass to show, and see icicles fall off the roof. In other words, we’re ready for a great spring and summer.

I will open the shop May 5, with a great line of tackle and live bait, and high hopes for all of us.

Hang in there, the icicles are falling as we speak. And the lawn work will be calling soon, and flower planting in full swing. We’re even going to have some salmon stuff for you folks again. Wow, how exciting is that ? And I can’t wait to be in the shop and get away from all that yard work.

Lorie and I will see you May 5. 2017 🙂
