LABOR DAY IS HERE

August 28th, 2014 by Budd

Labor day weekend is here.  This summer has seen a fair share of unusual weather patterns to say the least, and there are some rain clouds forecast in this weekend. But it is the last big chance to fish for the summer, and we advise you to try and get out and catch some fish. The crowds will undoubtedly be lighter this year, to your advantage, also the catching has been better this year for walleye, bass and pike, and perch. Blue gills are abundant for  you as well.

Also, the big advantage is that the weather folks are seldom right so why start believing them now, on a holiday. We hope to see here this weekend, and will be open all through the holiday period.

Good luck to all of you fishing, and good luck to all of you students returning to classes. Our season here will soon end and the store will close for the fall and reopen for ice fishing season. We will be sporting a new set of minnow tanks and winter tackle. We look forward to all of this as well.

And please remember this, summer or winter ALWAYS fish with Lorie Rigs.

OPEN 8-5

SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS 8-3
